Why Are Physicals Important?
Physical exams helps detect and diagnose issues early and help lower your risk of disease and/or injury. Appropriate medications, referrals and treatment plans would be implemented if needed. Springfield Primary Care believes in promoting health early on as this paves the way to achieving good health and overly well being.
Types of Physicals
- Yearly Physical: Yearly physicals are comprehensive screenings that evaluate your general health. This physical contains two parts: blood and urine tests, and a head-to-toe exam and review of your test results. If any issues are found during either part of the routine physical, further appointments will be made as necessary.
- Well Woman Exam: This would include the routine gynecological exam. Recommended schedule for this would be dependent on the age and medical history.
- Sports Physical
- Employment Physical
