Why Are Physicals Important?
Physical exams helps detect and diagnose issues early and help lower your risk of disease and/or injury. Appropriate medications, referrals and treatment plans would be implemented if needed. Types of Physicals
- Yearly Physical: Yearly physicals are comprehensive screenings that evaluate your general health. This physical contains two parts: blood and urine tests, and a head-to-toe exam and review of your test results. If any issues are found during either part of the routine physical, further appointments will be made as necessary.
- Well Woman Exam: This would include the routine gynecological exam. Recommended schedule for this would be dependent on the age and medical history.
- Sports Physical
- Employment Physical
